Becker Avionics Secures FAA Approval & Launches US Production of NCT 6500 Series, Navigation & Communication Transceiver.

Miramar, FL — Becker Avionics, Inc. is proud to announce that its next-generation NCT 6500 series, Navigation and Communication Transceiver, has received full FAA TSO approval. This certification marks a major milestone in Becker’s commitment to expanding its U.S. product portfolio by delivering modern, high-performance avionics to the general aviation and special-mission markets.

Following certification, Becker has started producing the NCT 6500 in series at its enhanced facility in Miramar, Florida. The site now features enhanced tooling, test equipment, and quality-assurance infrastructure to support domestic manufacturing and improve delivery timelines for U.S. operators and OEM partners.
