EB3100 - External Jack Box

The External Jack Box, EB3100-(X), is designed for aircraft installation and is intended to be used in conjunction with the Digital Voice Communication System DVCS6100, for headsets providing an intercom link between the ground crew and aircraft crew.

The External Jack Box is designed in a rugged metal case. The volume control and jack socket with protecting cover for connecting a headset are located on the front panel of the case frame. The 9-pin unit connector (including locking mechanism) for connection with the aircraft wiring is located on the end face of the case frame.

The External Jack Box comprises the following plug-in modules:

• Mike amplifier module
• Headphone amplifier/voltage regulator module
